I have a beautiful product to review in today’s video; it is the XM 360, an outdoor Christmas laser light projector by the company. This is a similar product to the two laser projector lights that I reviewed earlier this year and they’re kind of like an alternative to Christmas lights for which they can be used for any party indoors or outdoors. Besides these, XM360 basically projects a bunch of little tiny laser dots onto a surface as large as a house projecting a red and green color which doubles also with the Christmas season.

 

Cost considering, it is about sixty dollars on amazon with a manual and a little service card which contains its warranty information and other products.

However, a bunch of these laser projector lights can be used for a Halloween party and they’re really awesome when mounted in the house, and projected onto the floor thereby creating a dance floor effect. It is produced by 1byone and the links are listed down below for its purchase. A notable fact to note here is that the product is branded and not just like other Chinese products with no names on the box.

Moreover, I has a spike that goes into the ground to hold it in place to avoid it been bent when planted; of which the material is made up of aluminum as with the remote control with which it can be operated. A quick look at the specifications reveals that it covers up to 2,100 square feet from a distance of twenty-five feet, it has a flashing mode, with capacity to operate in one color or both colors, it has a timer to switch on/off automatically, and it is rated ip65 for water resistance and ip44 for its power cable. It has a power cable with a length of 11 feet long which might not be suitable for your outdoor use that may require a 25 feet long length of cable, but with an extension, it can still be achieved. With a power input of 120 volt, and 60 Hertz, there is a need for an outlet to power the device.

 

In durability, it is made up of solid metal, aluminum both the spike and the laser projector and there is a little glass shielding the area where the laser beams emit so as the save the lenses from getting scratched. If the little dots get distorted, all that needs to be done is screwing the spike to the bottom of the laser module which is simple. It also has little adjustable knobs that can be used to adjust its height to one’s preferred choice. XM 360 can be operated between negative 31degrees Fahrenheit and 95 degrees Fahrenheit; and it is water resistant.

 

REVIEW

 

It is noticed that the green color looks to be almost kind of faintly flickering a little bit which could be due to power fluctuation. Its remote operates at different modes; the single color mode, multicolor mode, flashing mode with speed control, and capacity to dim or brighten the lights. The laser dots are very bright and it adds a great effect.

 

However, since the remote is IR, it’s impossible to switch it on from the back or side except by standing directly in front of the device. This is because it appears to be that the little sensor for the eye remote is actually placed underneath the glass on the front of the device so when you’re standing behind it or on the side of it, the remote cannot penetrate the metal housing and one cannot control the device and this I consider to be a big design flaw in my opinion

I do think they need to put an IR sensor on the back of it if they are going to use an IR remote and besides that, the power fluctuation I had mentioned in my review only happened to me like a couple of times so i wouldn’t worry about that it’s probably just maybe a flaw with my one specific item or maybe even has something to do with my power supply; the outlet which was plugged into.

The XM 360 is very bright, it adds a really cool effect to a party or a decoration and I think they can come down on the price a little bit like ten dollars and make it like forty-five or fifty dollars but besides that, I did probably give it maybe like an eighty-seven and a half for an eight out often.
